Press-on nail size chart: how to measure and pick sizes

How press-on nail sizes work: XS, S and M in one set (63 of our styles), how to measure natural nails, reference measurements, and sizing tips for resellers.

How our sets are sized

A press-on nail set laid out from the widest to the narrowest tip
One set runs from wide thumb tips to narrow pinky tips.

Our sets are 24 or 30 tips (70 styles are 24-tip sets, 51 are 30-tip sets). 63 styles are sets with XS, S and M sizes, so one set covers a range of hands; some designs are also available as single-size sets (all S or all M).

How to measure natural nails

Measuring the width of a natural nail with clear tape
Mark the widest part of each nail with clear tape, then measure.
  1. Start with clean, dry nails.
  2. Lay a strip of clear tape across the widest part of the nail, mark both side edges with a pen, then measure the distance in millimetres.
  3. Or hold tips from the set against each nail and pick the one that covers the nail from side to side without touching the skin.
  4. Write down a size for all ten fingers — thumbs and little fingers usually differ most.

Reference measurements

Measurements vary by shape and length. Ask for the chart for the styles on your list.

Do you need a press-on nail size kit?

A size kit is a set of blank tips in every size that wearers try on before ordering. We don't send size kits — sizing is done with the chart and measuring steps on this page.

For resellers, sets with XS, S and M in one set (63 of our styles) do much of the same job: wearers pick the tip that fits each finger from the set itself.

Sizing tips for your customers

  • Put a one-line size tip in every order: “between sizes, pick the smaller tip and file the sides”.
  • Keep a few spare mixed-size sets for exchanges.
  • List the shape and length on every product page so customers can compare.

Frequently asked questions

What if a press-on tip is too wide?

Choose the next size down, or file the sides of the tip until it sits inside the nail edges without touching the skin.

What's the difference between XS, S and M?

Each step up is a slightly wider tip for every finger. Sets with XS, S and M include all three, so wearers can mix sizes across fingers.

Do you offer single-size sets?

Yes, for some designs (all S or all M). Ask for single-size options when you send your list.
